Wipro kept 17500 offers to Freshers on Hold

Dear Team,

As we all know the recession effectiveness on IT industry, but most of Top notch compnies are not hiring any freshers, and companies like infosys ,wipro and Satyam kept all most 50000 fresers offers on Hold.

Pls let me know the impact of freshers hiring at this time and is it really effect the cost per hire ,if we hire frehers...?

Actually this is the right time to take experienced proffessionals with the same pay as freshers.

So may be companies are planning to hire the experienced employees instead of freshers

Yes.you are right ,but you mean the cost of a fresher is not eqal to cost of experienced guys..

At present max all the companiess are terminating and asking the employees to take long leave bcoz of the global finanacial crises.so all these employees are ready to tekeup other job at the same cost of freshers......
If this is not the situation 100% there is lot of difference for freshers and exp people in payscale.
