- About Me:
- This is Ananda Roy with around 12 years of business experience in Human Resources primarily with IT Product start-ups.
a. My last four years was spent as heading the Human Resources function at YASU Technologies here at Hyderabad. YASU (Yet Another Start Up) was founded in 1999 by six IIT Madras Alumni’s and almost 80% of our engineers were from IITs across the country. Our flagship product was QuickRules, a Business Rules Engine.
b. We were acquired by SAP Labs in October 2007.
c. I joined YASU when they were about 40 and at the time of the acquisition, we were around 125. I had gone through the M&A position from the HR perspective in its entirety.
d. I was working as a HR Business Partner with SAP Labs for the YASU organization.
e. SAP Labs planned a move for all employees here at Hyderabad to Bangalore. Since relocating out of Hyderabad was a major constraint, I decided to quit SAP Labs and then spent some time with a contact center here in Hyderabad before starting up on my own

Very briefly, this is how I partner start-ups and small companies in their business:
a. I work closely with start-ups and small companies to understand their corporate road map.
b. I help them to come up with their HR Scorecard in the following areas:
i. Talent Acquisition strategy and implementation including providing manpower as per their skills and competencies requirement within a desired Turn Around Time
ii. Design and Implement relevant Talent Management Modules
c. I also do quite a bit on the HR Operations as well
