§ Evaluation of Primary Outbound Logistics of Third Party Logistics Services for Color Televisions. The research included study of the entire supply chain of the company and looking into the existing logistics of the company. The existing process included heavy expenditure and hence the suggestion for a third party logistics provider was put forward. The research included meetings with various third party logistics providers and also evaluates the third party logistics (3PL) provider.
Mar ’03 – Apr ’03 3M INDIA LTD – Internship
§ “Opportunity assessment for usage for abrasives for fabrication in Stainless Steel Industry”. This was a marketing research conducted in Peenya industrial Area, Bangalore for the introduction of abrasives for fabrication in Stainless Steel Industry. The research covered around 600 industries. It was found that the Quality and pricing factor played a major role in purchase decisions. Although the Price of the products of the company was high compared to the competitors the market had a high potential for the abrasives of the company as it gave far better quality than its competitors. Today, the stainless steel abrasives developed by the company is a huge success in the market.
