Yes. HR should come out of the "Oh Poor Me" syndrome and act more strategic. But again if HR stays as 'glorified' business support center, this would be difficult.

The journey of an HR Practitioner allows me to understand the business realization that the only sustainable competitive advantage is truly attained by managing the right competencies in our organization with the clear aim of building a high performance work culture that adds to the development of the core capabilities for the organization.
